On Running “Show Me The Money”

On Running’s marketing team after Hellen Obiri wins, yet again.

The Boston Marathon, held annually on Patriots’ Day in April, is a prestigious and historic event.

It’s the world’s oldest annual marathon and attracts tens of thousands of participants, from seasoned qualifiers to recreational runners.

With a course that winds its way from Hopkinton to Boston, the race is a challenge and a celebrated tradition, drawing enthusiastic crowds along the route.

This year’s winner in the Women’s race was 2x champ Hellen Obiri.

Hellen Obiri is a Kenyan distance running star who has dominated on multiple surfaces. While recently conquering the marathon scene, her accolades span beyond the 42.195 kilometers.

Obiri is a two-time Olympic silver medalist in the 5,000 meters, a two-time World Champion in the same distance, and even a World Cross Country champion. Her versatility is unmatched, with podium finishes in the 1,500 meters and 10,000 meters as well.

Now, she’s adding marathon victories to her impressive resume, having just won her second consecutive Boston Marathon in 2024.

ON Running Is ON The Take.

Not to mention, she did it un utter style. Rocking an exclusive and unreleased pair of ON running super shoes.

Up-and-coming running shoe brand On Running is giving sportswear giant Nike a run for its money.

Both brands prioritize product development, but On caters to a specific runner seeking a cushioned, cloud-like feel. This strategy has helped On gain traction, though Nike’s established network and marketing muscle remain a significant advantage.

The competition between these two brands is heating up, and it will be interesting to see how they continue to innovate and attract runners in the years to come.

Peace!
